Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color

I LOVE most Sally Hansen products including this one! I am shocked at how easy the magnetic nail polish was to put on and use! I honestly thought it would be so difficult that I didn't get around to using it for nearly 2 weeks... but it took me under 20 minutes to completely finish my nails! I'm still amazed considering it normally takes me over an hour to paint my nails. That factor alone makes this my new favorite nail polish!

 Applying Tips

I had no problems putting on this nail polish for the most part. The only thing I had a little trouble with was the magnet. (A few times I accidentally let it touch my freshly painted nail, I was lucky however because it didn't cause much damage) The best way I found to avoid this was to view my nail from the side so I could see how close the magnet was getting to my nail. Also be sure to place the rounded elevated edge of the magnet as close as you can underneath your cuticle because if you place it to far back the design doesn't show up as well on the nail. 

 To Apply:

1.  Roll Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color between palms to activate
2.  Remove over cap with the magnet
3. Apply base coat (if desired) 
4. Apply first coat of color to all 10 nails
5. Wait few minutes for first coat to dry (I waited 5 minutes or so)
6. Apply thicker layer of Magnetic Nail Color to one nail and immediately hold magnet over nail, resting the rounded guide just below the cuticle for 10 seconds
7. Repeat step 6 to all other nails
8. Apply top coat (if desired)
9. Be amazed by how beautiful your nails look!

 Durability & Quality 

 This nail polish was so easy to apply and dries super quick! I'm not the best at painting my nails but the formula of this nail polish makes it easy for even someone like me to use it! I got beautiful end results with minimal effort! The Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail polish holds up extremely well even under the harshest circumstances and manages to look amazing the entire time. It lasted an entire week before I noticed slight chipping. I enjoyed how smooth this polish went on with no streaking or bubbling. The color I used (906 Ionic Indigo) was a very bold blue color which I loved. The designs made by the magnet came out very nicely in a pretty lighter blue color. Just everything about this nail polish is perfect in my opinion especially the speedy drying!

CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY™ Review

For many years, I have been trying to find the right shampoo and conditioner for my color damaged hair. (In my teen years I bleached and dyed my hair frequently) I have tried just about every brand on the market, from the high end brands to the cheaper store brands all leaving me with the same end results... dandruff, itchy scalp, dead ends, and dryness. It got the point that I just about gave up on any fancy hairstyles because fly-away/frizzy hairs spouted up everywhere, destroying the entire look....Needless to say, I was excited when I received the Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy shampoo and conditioner in my complimentary Voxbox from Influenster to review. I saw it in just about every store that I shopped in and was a bit afraid to try it. I figured it would be just like every other brand I tried, but I am happy to say that is was far better!

My opinion

The first thing I noticed about the Clear Scalp & Hair Shampoo/Conditioner was the incredible scent it left on my hair for hours after taking my shower. The second change I noticed was how manageable my hair was becoming. My hair not only looked more healthy but began to develop a beautiful shine. I could not believe, my hair was less brittle within a week of using this wonderful product! Even my dandruff decreased! The only reason I gave Clear a 4 out of 5 stars is because if a bit too much conditioner is used it leaves your hair feeling greasy. (I recommend using a smaller amount it to avoid this mishap) However, after I used up my sample bottles I went out and purchased the full sized bottles. I am now using it everyday and loving the results I'm seeing. I'm saying goodbye to my damaged, ugly hair and hello to my new gorgeous, healthy hair!

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen

This summer has been scorching hot, making sunscreen a must this season!  Within minutes of walking out the door my pale skin becomes lobster red. (not very attractive but boy is it painful!) In the past, most sunscreens I used worked for a short amount of time, and even with constant reapplying I still end up with a mild sunburn. I hate how my skin feels after applying those sunscreens as well, all greasy and sticky... I wanted something better. A sunscreen that I could enjoy and would wear more frequently without hesitation. Finally, I am excited to say that I FOUND one! 

The Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen is everything I was looking for, plus so much more! Not only is it a sunscreen (available in SPF 12, 30, and 50) but also a moisturizing lotion with ultra-luxurious hydrating silk ribbons that nourishes skin for up to 12 hours!  The best part my skin feels and looks great after applying, no greasy/sticky residue left behind at all! It is an added plus that is also smells absolutely amazing like fresh coconuts. Did I forget to mention that it kept my skin completely protected and sunburn free? This product out-lasted every other sunscreen I have ever used, and has officially made its way to the top of my favorites list!

Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar

Since I first tried the Quaker Soft Baked Bars in the Banana Nut Bread flavor I have went through four boxes. (In less than a month, can somebody say addicted much?)  I find myself reaching for one of them first thing every morning and they taste great with my coffee. I am impressed with how filling they are, my hunger stays satisfied for a couple hours. They are also easy to take on the go and perfect for snacking. 

I have ate them right out of the package and warmed up... either way they are delicious!  They are covered with almonds and oats that give them a crunchy and chewy texture. The banana flavor however is subtle but noticeable. They are my new favorite treat! Trust me, go buy yourself a box and give them a try! Quick and Healthy .... what more can you ask for?!

*To warm one up: open an edge of the package, place in the microwave for 10 seconds, wait for the beep, and welcome the fresh baked taste!
